The right choice for sterile applications/ clean rooms and high temperatures at the sight glass (up to +144°C).
Clean rooms place high demands on the components used. The equipment is cleaned with high temperatures and aggressive cleaning agents. In addition, the products used should offer as little contact surface as possible for particles.
These requirements were not met by the light fittings previously available on the market. The LEDs and electronics in conventional light fittings do not survive high temperatures. In addition, conventional light fittings have corners and edges, name plates, and hinges. These are all spots that catch particles.
For this reason, we have developed a new light fitting from scratch, the AVLR product series. On the one hand, it has an aseptic design, i.e., it is electropolished and has neither edges, nor a nameplate (but a laser marking), nor a hinge.
On the other hand, the AVLR can withstand aggressive cleaning processes outside the vessel, with water jets (IP 66/68) and chemicals (housing made of 1.4404), as well as sterilization processes inside the vessel (with up to +144°C at the sight glass, for up to 30 minutes).
The AVLR has a luminous flux of 900 lumens (equivalent to a halogen luminous flux of ~50W), a color temperature of 4,000 or 6,500 kelvins, and a color rendering index of CRI = 80 Ra.
Like all our light fittings, the AVLR is 100% developed and manufactured in Switzerland, according to our quality commitment “Swiss excellence – Since 1936”.
